I know that you have all been breathlessly awaiting a column from yours truly. It’s busy in the icy world of Christina IceDreamer. There were Halloween festivities last weekend, and this week I’ve been busily preparing for the birthday of my most magical production to date: StormyWiz.
In my spare time I’ve been perusing the Wizard101 screen shots I’ve posted on my Diary of a Wizard ConnectX page. A select few are organized into an album I call “Fail Log”. These screen shots are funny usually because of a bug and a clever caption, and sometimes just because of a clever caption.
Here is your chance to post screen shots to a Fail Log on the Diary of a Wizard Facebook Fan Page! If you’re not already a fan of Diary of a Wizard on Facebook, click here: www.facebook.com/diaryofawizard.
If you don’t have a Facebook page or ConnectX page due to age restrictions, you can e-mail your “Fail Log” photo to me at icywiz@diaryofawizard.com. By doing so, you are giving permission for your screen shot to be uploaded to the Diary of a Wizard Facebook fan page.
Here are the ground rules:
1. I’m not looking for screen shots that are merely funny. I’m looking for screen shots that are funny because they depict something going wrong. Many Fail Log screen shots are caused by a bug or brief hiccup, and a funny caption can add to that. Sometimes a “regular” screen shot can be turned into a Fail Log entry with a clever caption. 2. If you submit a screen shot that isn’t included in the “Fail Log” criteria, the screen shot may be moved to a separate album on the Diary of a Wizard Facebook fan page. Especially if it’s funny. Because as my good friend David ThunderPants has assured me, people like funny.
3. There are no prizes for having a screen shot make the Fail Log album on Facebook. No, there are no crowns, mounts, or anything of the sort to award to participants. However, you will have the knowledge that Christina IceDreamer thinks you’re funny. That’s priceless. Ask David ThunderPants!
