The 2nd Annual Haunted Back-to-School Bash was a nice way to end the “summer”. I am grateful that I was able to see my old friends and make some new friends. With everyone getting back into the routine of school, it was nice to see everyone! I took a few pictures that I wanted to share with you. From dogpiles, Friendly, IcyWiz, Leesha & Stephen to Pirates on the Run….we had a blast! I also took a few videos that I will try to edit this week. Good luck to everyone in this new school year. Greetings!!! This weekend we are presenting our 2nd Annual Haunted Back-to-School Bash! Last year we had lots of fun in Nightside. This will be an event for everyone to get together after a long summer as we all transition back-to-school. The Spiral changes as our children and friends become busier with academics of another sort and may not have time to be as social. This will give us a chance to reflect on the past few months of playtime and wish the best of luck to those going back to school!

- Grizzleheim Opened on Test Server Today!! – We met the loveable(??) Grizzleheim Bears and met a new kind of Jade Oni fight. Malistaire was stronger and we fought against Sylvia Drake.
- Other Wizard101 Releases Coming Soon – Stun shields were introduced. You could now gain health while in your dorm room. The max gold was raised to 150,000. And the Satyr pet now carried the Satyr card instead of a Unicorn.

You may have noticed that bosses of the Spiral have a few new tricks up their sleeves!
Some of the bosses have been learning from all their encounters with the Wizards of the Spiral. Bosses may now cast additional spells, even when it is not their turn and they may call extra minions to their side to aid in the battle.
Enter the….every Oni boss in Mooshu…*gulp* I braved through it..power pips on the boss and all those evil minions!

- Brand New Spells – A new death spell called Infection is introduced (-50% to next health spell). And we find out that it’s VERY helpful in those nasty Jade Oni fights.

Creative Crab – This wizard showed a unique talent for creative use of the 5 items. Prize is an Umbra Sword, a Starlight Pony (Permanent), and 2500 crowns.
Celestial Sole – This wizard represented the Celestia theme the best of all entries. Prize is an Umbra Sword, a Starlight Pony (Permanent), and 2500 crowns.
Floating Flounder – This wizard showed extreme skill in floating objects. Prize is an Umbra Sword, a Starlight Pony (Permanent), and 2500 crowns.
Lovely Ling – This wizard’s dorm was very appealing and visually lovely. Prize is an Umbra Sword, a Starlight Pony (Permanent), and 2500 crowns.
Judge’s Jellyfish – Each of the four judges will choose their favorite entry. How do the judges determine their favorite? However they want! Prize is a Shardtail Dragon pet, a 1 month subscription and 2500 crowns for each winner. (Pay special attention to this prize!)
Honorable Oarfish – There will be up to 15 honorable mentions. Prize is an Ice Prince Statue.
Lucky Unicornfish – Any contestants that did not win a prize in any of the above categories will be put into a raffle and 1 name will be drawn randomly. Prize is 2500 crowns.
Thank you for your patience. We have researched last weekend’s operational issues and gone to great lengths to resolve them.
We have identified all characters that were affected and will soon be initiating a reimbursement process for all lost items. We believe this will resolve all outstanding character issues, and in the case that we are not able to exactly match any data that was lost, we will err on the side of caution and offer Crowns as compensation to both paying customers and to our Free to Play users who were affected.
We hope and trust you will find this to be a satisfactory resolution, and will continue to play and enjoy Wizard101.

Hmmm…I say. Very curious indeed! I tried looking for this quest with Autumn Drake (level 49 Myth) and could not find this quest for me! However, I signed in with Fallon Shadowblade and guess what?!
I think today I will spend a little more time searching for quests. Yes, Mr. Gary Anthony Webb is now sending me to The Throne Room of Fire??? How curious!
**UPDATE** Unfortunately, I think this might have been really really old……The quest line ended shortly with delivering a time piece to Reed Treever. Hmmph! Oh well! It was fun just checking to make sure for my readers….Happy Thursday all!!
